Hi.
Could somebody recommend a Muslim shower valve that does not leak please?
Or one that has a washer that you can replace if it leaks?
Some sort of tap will be fine that you can connect the shower pipe to please, ideally in chrome?
Many thanks in advance
Hello all.
I have fitted three new Saracen timed flow valves to existing shower rooms.
But these valves are still allowing water to flow from shower head and won't close off.
I have tried various options and sorted other connections in the shower lines 5 on one line 3 on other. Only 1 new...
I am fitting a thermostatic shower control. The flow knob fitting has a threaded section - 27mm OD - and it would be helpful to get a nut to go on it. Can anyone advise what I need and where to get it please?
I have a CH circuit on a 2 way zone valve. It’s a long circuit with 15 rads on it but rather than shutting down the last 5 rads in the circuit when not in use which is 90% of the time, can I put a 3 zone valve on the flow after the tenth rad and divert to a new T piece on the return to...

Hi
I am trying to fit a Hive Radiator valve into my existing TRV valve body to make them automatic so have bought a Hive valve to try it out. I have done this before in another install but the valves were Danfoss and directly compatible with Hive.
I am looking for an adapter that will be able...
I have an Arteform shower valve in my bathroom - top lever for the main shower head, middle for the handheld hose and bottom is the thermostatic control. The hot was not getting hot enough recently so (under instructions from the manufacturer) I removed the allen key valves bottom left and right...
Could someone tell me what this is, please?

Hi,
I have just installed a combination all in one WC/small basin….
Out of the fill valve there is a small tube which emits a lot of water during the refill (I believe it is known as a refill tube) and is connected directly into the overflow tube that drains into the pan, Googling suggests...

I have a Megaflo unvented cylinder . Water had been dripping into the tundish so I tried to recharge the air gap, but when I went to turn the pressure relief valve it would not turn at all, as it usually would. My shower has been dripping in the bathroom next door , could in anyway...
I have a Bristan Manhattan mixer tap in the kitchen. Five years ago, it started to drip. I replaced the valve in the cold water side and the dripping stopped. Recently it began to drip again and I replaced the valve again. But, it still drips sometimes. I’m trying to replace the valve on the...
Hi I'm going to replace the 3 way vale on my open heating system. Hoping someone can advise.
In the picture, to isolate the valve I am going to turn off 1, 2 & 3. However as you can see I can't turn anything off between the valve and the hot water tank. If I use a bung in the header tank, will...
We have had an ongoing issue with low hot water temperatures in a school.
During the recent repair of a leak, the plumbers isolated the hot water to fit a new bit of pipework and found that water wouldn't stop running until the cold boosted water was also isolated. Given this, it would seem...
Hello guys, a couple of months back I installed a new shower and sink into a part of the house that hadn't previously been plumbed in. This forced me to run some pipes outside the walls, so I put in stopcocks at the point where the new pipework joins the old Just In Case. I used copper pipe and...
Hi, guys! Hope you are all well.
I have four solenoid valves connected to the main water supply, and they seem to break quite often. I believe it's the pressure that's causing this.
I was thinking of adding a pressure valve to control the pressure before it goes through the solenoid valve.
Do...

It's a Hydroboss brand from Tradelink and I'm keen not to replace crap with crap
So what are the best brands of valves on the market ? The plumber recommended AVG
