Yes it should be reportedIs a standing pressure of over 30mb report-able? Or am I wrong in thinking this.
Thanks the gas supplier yes?Yeah get the gas peeps in
Thin baby bottle brushThanks so I've diged out an old manometer given to me by a colleague. That reads up to 60mb, to accurately read a standing pressure of over 30mb. The tubes are a little dirty though. Is there a better way of trying to clean them than running water through them?
Yes ShaunCorbs. We have an Anton one. I have always used a manometer for tightness testing.
I would carry out a W.P. (working pressure) test at the Meter to ensure that the governor is operating as expected and if it is, I wouldn't worry if the standing pressure is around 30mb.Is a standing pressure of over 30mb report-able? Or am I wrong in thinking this.
Doesn’t matter. You did what was right. We all knew that would be the outcome really. Thanks it was 34mb standing pressure. They came out and changed the regulator, but the standing pressure was the same with the new regulator 34mb. They left it and said it was OK as the working pressure was fine, 22mb.
