Hi looking for any views on Brighton sanitary ware. I'm looking at the curve range back to wall WC (will be using concealed cistern) and matching semi recessed sink.
Anyone have experience of fitting or owning Britton. How is the quality of the ceramics and inlet and outlet mouldings. As it...
Nothing to offer from me but just a question. is that part of the original manufacturers design. From the photo it looks like a DIY add on. However the only burner I've ever seen is my own on a Worcester danesmoor.
Hi Best, Sounds like your a man after my own heart and good that people like yourself are concisous of the news of our elderly population. Our's wasn't a dire need, but the wife does suffer from an early onset of arthitis and it better for her if we can keep the house warm. To hear that the...
To be fair I could have had it serviced last week and the cap still failed the next couple of days afterwards, as it is the cap cost me £ 3.69 and fuel was 1 gallon of diesel. Everyone needs to earn ar fair wage, but to call an engineer on a sunday (if I could get hold of one) would have been...

Checked filter bowls for debris or signs of water, both clean and good oil flow.
Reset lockout and tried restart. Nothing, no motor run just...
Hi Guys, Just wondering how you would make good a wall after insulating pipes that go through. My boiler is located in small utility room on the back of the house and the pipes feed through a cavity wall. I have just put new climaflex insulation on the pipe runs as the old stuff was in a pretty...
I think I would be tempted to open that valve further. If when CH and DHW are on demand you are not getting adequate feed to the radiators then choke back the cylinder return to provide back pressure and force more flowthrough CH side.
As I say I am new to this and feel a bit cheeky stepping in here. So it does look like a restriction in the DHW circuit. Are you able to view the complete piperun from cylinder back to boiler. I wonder if a some point in the run a gate valve has been fitted to balance the system when CH and DHW...
Hi, First of all let me say I am not a plumber and I am a new member (today). I am however an engineer who has been involved in fault tracing. You mention that you get hot water when CH and DHW requested so there appears to be no blockage in the DWH heating circuit. Restriction possibly.
When...

Best part of forties have gone by and projects relate to my own property or the odd emergency help for family...
