That's the diaphragm washer only one hole in centre would be a right nightmare to change cistern because of front access cover plate with twin flush....arrrrgggghhh why me cheers guys ....brum
Pipes not adequately clipped and/or insulated a PRV may be needed to keep incoming main supply to a steady pressure nominally 3 bar working pressure a mini expansion vessel /shock arrester can be fitted close to a nuisance shower valve ,tap or any cold water draw off that is causing concern...

Why not bring pipes through floor to rads if your trying to make one big rad out of several it may not work unless linking top and bottom and then get cold at last rad ....brum
