Not strictly a plumbing question, but to do with the bathroom layout - hopefully not too off-topic! Some pictures attached. What we have is this:

We would like to make this window 800 wide, and then move it by about 100 to the left. I.e., this:

In other words: The gap is currently 720 wide. We'd have to 'fill' about 100 on the right, and 'extend' by 180 on the left, to give us 800. The distance to the wall on the left would then be about 400. (Edit: This would then give an 800 gap, so that a new wider window could be fit.)

Any thoughts about how difficult this would be?

Many thanks!
Björn

If you’ve got the money to pay someone to do it and it’s the design you want, then go for it.

It would likely mean taking existing window/frame out.

Bricking up the right hand side to correct position.

Knocking out top current lintel, installing new extended lintel.

Cutting/knocking out left side to new position.

Install window/frame/make good.

It’s not an overly difficult project.
