Additional outdoor taps

Can i add additional outdoor taps by extending an existing outdoor water line (exiting outdoor tap) or does it have to be from the water mains ? will it reduce the water pressure ?

You can probably get away with extending an existing tap, but it still has to conform with water regulations. It also depends on the pressure and flow rate available
