can anyone explain these filters to me, if you slide the bar across does that isolate that side and can you remove that filter to clean. also what type of filter is it likely to have inside the isolation valves either side were seized and as i didnt know what i was doing, the pipwork was 4 inch...

Hi I am trying to remove this WC lid, thought I could just push in the lugs and lift off the seat. (It is top fixing as you cannot get access underneath) I need to remove the seat in order to tighten the connections as the seat is loose. Anyone any ideas please Paul

Does anybody recognise this concealed valve .It has a Mira head on but Mira have assured me it is not theirs. It won't open to hot or cold and requires new. It's only a year old so customer doesn't want to damage tiles as they don't have anymore. Any help or advise would be appreciated Cheers

Apologies for a first post asking for help but.. This is the inside to my bathroom sink popup plug. The RH section slides into the LH and there is a base and a spring missing. I need to replace it but I can't even find a picture of one on the net. All current ones seem to have a brass mechanism...

The customer has replaced the cold cartridge but it had carried on dripping. My suggestion was trying the filtered drinking water but wondered what your thoughts are as I don't know if these things have o rings that perish and back fill etc.

I think it's one of those thermostatic flow reducers that are supposed to save water whilst combis reach temp. But I've had a Google and the only one that comes up is Combisave which is a different shape completely. No idea where I got it, I'm having a clearout and it was there.. .
