We have just taken out the above boiler from a flat it heated 5 rads and a Genhill open vented cylinder with a DHW heat exchanger on the side on the cyninder. Problem is it is the boiler was a sealed system but the is no expansion vessel, do we need one on the new boiler it is a main 15hea heat...

fitted my first poterton gold heat only today , have a Q regarding to the flue ! flue was 5" and the inner tube was metal , is this correct or my supplier has given me wrong flue ?

I have a problem with a heat only boiler that makes excessive kettling and banging noise when fired up. it does it either when heating the hot water in the cylinder and/or radiator circuit. Boiler is aproximately 5years old. Please can you help Matt

Hi all, I need to replace an Ideal mexico 65. Does 65 mean 65000 BTU's? If so does that simply mean I could swap it for an equivalent KW boiler, what ever size that would be, I guess about 20kw-ish. Thanks
