White/ very light coloured cement.

It's been years since I have had to make some and I always use ready mix from the merchants.

How do I do it again? Is it white sand and cement?

Don't use rugby cement it drys very grey

Snowcrete and white sand if its very light snowcrete and ordinary sand if a bit darker

Put a scoop of lime in the mix, it drys the same colour as the mortar used on victorian aged buildings.

It's times like this that I miss my old apprentice who was an apprentice brickie before he worked out how boring it was. He used to do all the patching up and just got what he needed.
