I've not done too much 4" work - as far as I can tell the boss goes into the socket above, then a short piece of pipe with a socket fits around the bottom which goes into another socket in the ground.
I need to replace the boss and pipework underneath it going into the socket in the ground...
Hi, hoping for some advice. I would like to know if its possible to relocate my clients rainwater downpipe, pictured lefthand side of image - the sloping section only. The garden is being re-landscaped so digging up paving not a problem.
I am assuming it drains to a soakaway and as long as a...

How do you measure this?
Do you study the ground type and use the MIS3005 lookup tables, if so how? Or commission a report from a specialist, or use the BGS website for reports?
This is my biggest concern with ground source, getting this wrong!
thanks in advance

I've just started up a new company and was just wondering what tips you guys can give on how to stand out from the rest? I'm in the process of making a 1000 brochures and handing them out door-to-door and of course advertise on Gumtree etc.

I was at a newish plant room the other week where they had used 4" stainless steel gas pipework in the ground connecting to mdpe.

Evening a mate has house with this set up and needs a new 3 way valve fitted. Been told he needs a Esbe Alz 160. I've no experience at all of working on this type of system, would it be a simple case of draining down and replacing as with a normal 3 port? Or is it best to stay away?
Any advise...
