Hi
I have a leaking valve. Can anyone tell me what this valve is and what it's for? Do they break often? Do I need to tighten or replace it??! Thanks guys

Replace sorry to say

Also anything to do with an unvented cylinder needs a person who holds there G3 qualification

Hi.
They split inside , I'm afraid. So it's a replacement.
To cover your household insurace, and legality, you will need a local plumber who is G3 registered to do this.
I will be a quick job. And he will make sure it's compatable with your cylinder.
While he/she is doing the replacement, ask them to service the cylinder.

Thanks just to clarify is G3 for gas? There's no gas on site just electric. Happy to get an expert in..

G3 is a qualification for pressurised/ gravity hot water cylinders
