Alright Lads,
Just need a quick heads up. A customer of mine has had a new extension fitted and whats me to disconnect the existing stopcock and move it about 6metres to the new kitchens location.
As it's solid floors I'm gonna run it in a chase and inserted in overflow pipe and then...
External stopcock chamber has water in it and when external stopcock turned off, dial still goes round. Would that be a leak on homeowner's side and therefore their responsibility?
I am putting a new room in the loft and so when it comes to the bathroom i have a chance of designing where the cold/hot pipes go and also (possibliy)the waste.
The idea is to run the hot and cold feed not under the floor, but in the lower eaves cavity bit (storage area) because the bath will...
But not together haha...
Couple of questions..
1. There's an overflow pipe run into a boss on a soil which has come loose. Not sure if right adaptor was used. What's the correct fitting to connect an overflow pipe to a soil pipe boss? The boss is already there, I just need to connect...
I have a puddle on the ground floor of my building every morning it appears to be coming from the boiler room/toilets on the floor above but its bone dry during the day and I can't find any evidence of where its coming from. Has anyone had similar problems or any ideas on what it could be?

My internal stop tap is leaking and the water company have confirmed that there is no outside stop tap (and that they don't fit them to properties older than 1944). The plumber said that there isn't sufficient height on the internal pipework for it to be frozen. Can anyone help ? Thanks

Hi, I am fitting a towel rail in place of a radiator. I had to use an internal reducer (15mm-10mm) to connect up the pipes to the towel rail.
When I filled up the system again both valves were leaking.
Do I also need to use a 15mm olive on this?
At the moment I have;
