Anyone really good on Honeywell 3 ports?

Hi All,
I’m having a complete reinstall of my central heating system due to full refurbishment of my house.
I’ve not had the pleasure of carrying out an install from scratch yet so what better place to start than my own house to break things :-D.
It’s a 3 bed end terrace, shower WC downstairs...

Is it time to get another??
Thanks

Hi guys and gals

Currently an open system with hot and cold tanks.
We are planning to go for an unvented cylinder system while moving the boiler location.
The main thing I wanted to ask about is the...

Hello!
The aforementioned mid position valve has been replaced on an open vented, Y plan system with 22mm primaries and 8mm feeds to radiators from manifolds (I know). The system is clean and all radiators are new. Heating and DHW are fine, both work as required and provide required heat...
Needed to swap a Honeywell zone valve head today for a neighbour in need! I only had a"Tower" one. They are identical, even the valve body us the same casting.
i get the tower ones from Williams, they are cheaper by a good chunk. I wonder if they are the same thing?
maybe ray Stafford could...
Did a boiler swap sat and wired s plan. I bought the honeywell easy wiring centre to make things easy. I cut links 2 and 4 but hw zone valve would open on htg demand had me puzzled for a while. The instructions on the lid of wiring centre were not clear. In small print it says cut link 1 if...
Went to a job today and they had no HW/CH, fault code at the Smartfit programmer showed the fault F 03 which is the actuator. Picking one up in the morning, does anyone know if these are removable head type actuators?
Hoping it is as will mean I can get the job done quicker and have more...
Hi I am renovating a bungalow and redoing all the heating and plan to generate a number of zones for radiator heating. In the past I have mainly used Honeywell 4043H but having had a head fail after 2 years in a previous property I am not sure that they are any better than some other makes these...

Went to a job today after fitting a new 15/60 grundfoss pump.. Switched everything on and it wasn't getting any current.
Long story short had to call the boss who after a few calls got quite frustrated with me as I just wasn't really understanding what he was getting me to do.
I've never...
I have an old Honeywell st 499 controller with a battery back up that no longer works. I purchased a new battery and asked my plumber to fit it. For some reason this did not solve the problem. I am therefore considering replacing it with the newest version, the st 699.
As someone with no...
Hey all,
I've just moved into a new home that has a thermostat hooked up to a Honeywell ST6400C programmer. I'm trying to figur out how to leave the heating to come on only when the temperature drops below a certain level. Can anyone advise?
Just curious,
I need to change a 2 port valve, there is an iso just above it but not below, if it's a sealed system can I not just shut off the iso and replace without draining, and if a vented system bung the feed and vent and replace without draining?
It's a 2 floor house and the valve is on...
Hi
