Hi
I have a Linea 730 Vokera boiler that has code 4 on the display (low pressure). When I top up the pressure water leaks from the top of the external brass part on the pump next to the hose leading to the expantion vessel.
For the last few weeks the pressure has read 0 yet the system has...

Hello
i repressurised my expansion vessel with water to 1.5 bar
heating put on this evening the gauge is going up to 3
how do I reduce the pressure as I am a bit concerned it is to high, is it just a case of bleeding a radiator to let out water?
Tim

hi guys. This is maybr a sizing issue but thought i would put it to others to get a second opinion. Went to service a boiler the other day then afterwards noticed that the water pressure was down to almost zero (sealed system) i repressurized and checked all rads were bled . All fine. left...
As above really. Vessel is leaking.
Have had one quote stating boiler must come off with a suitably high number attached followed by a suggestion that it might be better just to fit a new boiler.
Have also seen 2 plumbers of this parish say that its not that bad and can be done in situ in 2-3...
Hi all,
I've got an Ideal Response boiler, about 10 years old. I tried a search on the forums (and google) but haven't found an answer to my question.

Got called to a customer today to look at an open vented system that had been converted to sealed a good few years ago. The old guys system has been running at a constant 3bar+ of late, and the PRV is constantly opening as a result. Suspecting that the expansion vessel was the the fault I took...
