Do they really mean galvanised steel?

I had new rads installed two years ago with a power flush, and one year ago a new boiler. Just flushed out with X400 till the water was so clear it looked like drinking water. Had a Magnaclean installed, ran it for an hour and it had two rings of black stuff on it - not really thick sludge...

As above. Couple of spots of rad sludge on carpet. Tried a foam carpet cleaner but that wasn't much good. Anyone got any tricks to save me sending ar lass up wi the carpet cleaner?! :cry_smile:

As above who are the brands of fittings that can get you from this plastic which is approx 1-3/8" od and roughly 1" id back to metric , have not touched this sort of pipe for a while cheers Mark .
