Good information here and a good read. If all installers did this it would make life a lot easier long term. If all systems were set up correctly to begin with, the number of flush’s needed and parts failing would drop considerably.

Adey do exactly the same thing as well. Just used it.
Sample of system water and sample of mains water.
Very quick as well, think I had the results back in 48 hours online.

Helped a customer get a free replacement for a column radiator.

Lots of good info in both the Adey and Fernox guides, I'd like to think this is fairly standard practice these days.

I've never entirely understood why boilers aren't supplied with built in filters.
