Wrong address

My old boss phoned me the other day to see if I could do a job for him. Only had to swap 6 trvs on a sealed system so said ok. He text me the address and off I went. Knocked on the door and man answered. Told him I had come to change his rad valves. " brilliant, only reported it this morning, in yer come, cup o tea? ". " yes please " I reply. Quickly scope out job as ex boss can be a bit wooly in details. 6 trvs on a sealed system, nice and easy. 45 minutes, 2 cups of tea and half a pack of hob nobs later, I'm off. Next day ex boss phones asking why I hadn't done the job. Turns out he had given me the wrong address, I was supposed to be next door!!!!! Not the first time this has happened, I have changed 2 ports, 3 ports and almost a cylinder!!!! Anyone else or is it just my old boss who is bad with addresses.

I know I should give up plumbing too

i have tested, removed and capped a gas meter, gone inside flat and cut into gas pipe to find it was live. went outside to realise i had disconnected next door's meter. Had to wait till the end of the day for them to come home and explain myself and reconnect.

i enjoyed working in scotland system3 and in 5 years for the toon i only met one person who i thought was a bit off the driving thing was just funny and slightly surreal as the apprentice and i sort of looked at each other in disbelief as the van rolled over and over and all the dust off the floor billoed and made clouds as we rolled we sort of looked at each other as if to ask whats happening

I knocked on a customers door , a lady opened the door , I walked straight in , went to the kitchen looked at boiler , thought she had a Worcester , but in front off me was a idea, then looked at the lady , she was not my customer , I walked in the house next door to my customer, both had red front doors, she just laughed when I explained the mistake .

i know i did few of them council houses , and still do on NCR , if you go pass it you will se my van there
