is it true that from next year anyone who connects a pipe to a tap will have to have the water regulations certificate
 
i heard it from the company were i did my plumbing course, i had hoped it was just them fishing for me to do another course but i wanted to check if it was true first.

Hello mate, I heard the same thing from part time lecturer at college, Who also works for Balfour Beattie. So I'd guess he heard it at work, still don't know how true it is.
 
Sounds like a great idea until some a*se decides that after having to pay over the odds for it, it would be a good idea to pay an annual subsciption to keep your cert going.
Rant over maybe im just cynical!!
