It's because you're a new member, I will sort it out for you.

It's to prevent spam on the forums so we check new posts from new members.

Any chance you can also sort it out for me - it makes it hard to keep a conversation going if I have to wait multiple hours for someone to approve my reply, thanks.

In some cases it takes almost 24 hours for a new members response to show. Is this going to be a constant thing? Because I assume many like me either cant help an urgent problem or get fed up waiting for the chance to read and respond.

I think there is one like that at the minute. One of the corona ones?

Theres a few I believe. I have a guy with a problem with his HRM oil boiler, he replied last night at 8.30pm, I still cant se his response. I appreciate the admin are busy and low on numbers but 24 hours is a long time

Atm there’s only me I appreciate 24 hours is a long time but I don’t get chance in the day due to being busy

I do my best

If you were around during the time when the forum was constantly being bombarded with spam by morons you would understand why the filter was put in place.
New members are informed of the delay when they join up.

I appreciate that RPM, I dont intend to sound rude but it's hard to help people when there is this delay. How many posts does a new member need to create before this sanction is lifted?

Hey guys sorry for the delay in approvals. As you know things are mental for everyone at the moment. And I've got a kidney infection on top of it all. Will try to get them. Done quicker. Apologies.

Sorry to hijack/reboot this, but I’ve just replied to a thread, which is awaiting moderator approval and I’m not a new member. Is it because the poster/OP is new? I’ve never noticed it before.

Well my posts just seem to be being deleted and I only just joined. Not sure why and can't get an answer. Ah well. Have to try another source.

not deleted but waiting for approval as your new in case it’s spam etc hope you understand
