Do you guys put the waste pipe and the hot and cold inside the pedestals?

Some of them are pretty tight!!!

No just make sure they don’t go past the same width of the ped

Thanks. Another question as always, when sistering joists with ply can you drill a hole larger than 1/4

Do you ever trim up joists to make way for waste pipes or is this not a job for a plumber

No never, it seems a cool thing to do but when the trap needs cleaning out its murder. It cost one of my customers plenty once when her gold tooth fell out , so I had to take out the whole ped affair because all the pipework was neatly inside the pedestal
