Hi everyone,

I have a question about balanced water pressure in my kitchen. Are both the hot and cold water pressure meant to be the same, as my hot water has good pressure when fully open but the cold tap pressure has about 2-3 times more pressure when the tap is fully open almost floods the sink.

Is this normal and if not then how can I reduce the cold water pressure in the kitchen and are their any risks of not having balanced water pressure in the kitchen?

Any advice or information would be much appreciated thank you.šŸ˜€

Thank you for the reply, the hot and cold in the kitchen are definitely not of equal pressure.
What can I do to get them to balance should I reduce the cold water pressure to match the hot water as the cold water as mentioned is very powerful when the tap is fully turned on and the hot water pressure is good too, any advice would be appreciated.

Can I ask why you need them balanced ? Just restrict the cold via a flow limiting valve 8-10 lpm is fine for a kitchen sink
