Hello all, I have been tasked with installing a new kitchen sink into a farmyard barn. The nearest mains water is suppying toilet about 45m away inside another barn which is conected to the barn i need to install the sink in.
My question is can I run a mains supply from the existing toilet room to the sink unit surface mounted? It will be inside another building so is it classed in the same way a 'raising main' is within a house situation or not?

Many thanks

Anything which is connected to a rising main is treated the same under the Water Regs regardless of application. As long as your pipework meets the requirements you will be OK.

You may consider using MDPE pipe due to the application and pipe run.
