Hi all. We are trying to install a new washing machine in our home. The previous owners had a slot for a washing machine. We noticed that there is only one hose in the wall. I would have expected an inlet for fresh water and an outlet to drain away dirty water. Image attached. How do we use this one hose to connect the machine? Please advise. Thanks.

whats in the right cupboard? (pic would be handy)

hole bottom right in the back does the plinth come out easily or whats the next until along (right)

also them electrics need sorting (loose face plate)

both plints are screwed on tight to the base. I put my hand into the hole as far as i could but couldn't feel a pipe or anything else.

ok whats in the next unit to the right?

Quite often pipes will come from under your sink. They may have removed the hoses with the old machine.

While your installing your washer that cable wrapped in tape and smashed socket look pretty suspect. An easy fix while you have access.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
