Discuss Vauxhall Vans for Plumbing and Heating in the Plumbing Forum | Plumbing Advice area at PlumbersForums.net
I’m with you on the custom.Doesn’t matter what van you get, it’s a pure lottery. I have a custom which has been perfect and others have broken down out of the forecourt brand new.
Just make sure there’s a service history and you can see the work that’s been done.
Don’t get the new vws bad engines and boxes blowing up etcMines an 07, just under 50K (part time plumber) and other and fuel pump last year (£700 as injector rail has to be removed to get to it) and almost yearly steering bushes, it been pretty good. Clutch burns if overworked around town, wind noise is getting louder at 75. I wouldn't but another - I'd get a VW if I could find one affordable.
