Hi,
Any help or advice very welcome.!

I'm not an heating engineer but more or less understand how the system works....But the fault I gave has flumoxed me....

I have a pressurised oil based system with Grant boiler in detached garage..The pump is in the boiler body.

The hot water and heating circuits have a Honeywell 2 port valve each and the thermostat & control box is a wireless type.

The whole set up has.been in place and has been working fine for several years.....

Recently the heating circuit stopped working with hot water all fine....Checked it and the heating valve Actuator was not firing. So changed the motor head and all was fine....For about a week...Then same thing..?!

So though mmm .Maybe the valve body has some sort of jamming/sticking fault which knocked out the new Actuator.?....So changed the valve body ....Replaced the motor head again and fine......For about another week.!!!......The Actuator has now stopped firing again.??

Does anyone know what on earth could be causing the system to knock out the heating valve Actuator...?....The hot water side of things continues to work fine......thanks..

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
