Alright lads.

Vaillant Turbomax 828-E.

Before I end up with no hot water and heating when I start taking my boiler apart, is the valve serviceable or do I just get a new one? :)

Cheers.

If your not gas safe you shouldn't be taking anything apart.

Alright lads! I'm a proper boyo; look at my casual language! I know loads of tradesmen, I may even be one myself; probably a plasterer or if heaven provides, an electrician! I'm going to be all casual about this but really I just want to make it look like I have the faintest idea but actually the gas safe training involves a great deal of work and a regulation book 2-inches thick BUT

So it's ok if I potentially kill my family because it's just the water side right?

No, Archy. You're a :nono: idiot. Get an engineer in.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...
