Depends what wiring you have at the stat be careful as it will probably be live

Ok. So here is a picture of the wiring. I'm to understand that this is a line voltage thermostat. So, I assume I can simply buy a digital line voltage thermostat and swap it out?

You won’t be able to have a digital one as there’s no neutral / ground connection there only hot/live in and hot/live in

Battery operated thermostat?
You still have the live supply switching, but the screen dispay is done by the batteries.

Don’t know if they make one for underfloor heating but good suggestion

I believe that in Canada the colour for live is black and neutral is white. If I'm right, there does seem to be a neutral available.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
