I will never open the batting for England. Or the bowling. Or even be the 12th man.

I will never be first choice tight head prop for England, or Ireland (have Irish relatives so could qualify).
Had the chance of going for the England Under 21's trial back in 1994. Problem was, it was still seen as a bit elitist then, and because I was going into a trade, they didnt want to know.

I was told by the county coach who I was playing for at the time, that I was more than good enough to get in, which was more annoying than anything!!!
