Hi all,

I’ve just moved into a house with Oil heating, I have a thermostat that just controls temperature and a separate box controls heatings zones (Pictures attached)

My question is can I get a smart thermostat installed like a Hive or a Nest and will it do anything other than increase / decrease the temperature? Or switch anything on / off

Appreciate the help

Phil

Yes, absolutely. The wiring is the same regardless of the fuel used for the heat source.
