Hi,

We have solar panels for our hot water, so we have the main water tank in the airing cupboard, plus a small pressurised (I think) tank. The smaller one has been leaking for several years leaving rusty water on the outside & on towels in the cupboard. The system also keeps losing pressure making the boiler come up with an error message, so we have to keep opening the taps on the flexihose to depressurise the system around once a day in average.

We had a plumber replace the small tank, but he had a hard time fitting it & it looked scratched & second hand by the end of the job, despite it being a new tank apparently. It’s also started leaking like the original al one. He doesn’t seem to be keen to come back & put it right & we’re having a hell of a job finding someone who will take on the job and is reliable.

Any advice at all?
