Hi i keep getting a leak through a ball isolation valve on a hot pipe. This is on a thermal store where this pipe can be 80c. I have gone through 3 isolation valves in two years. The plastic seal inside the valve breaks down. What vakve should i use? Gate?

Anything decent with ptfe seals , just avoid cheapo.
You need one that has a declared temperature rating over 80c.
That would usually exclude anything from Screwfix etc as they don't appear to give ratings.

Something like this which is up to 110c, (various sizes available.)

Thanks, its so annoying. The valve leaks really slowly until it drains the top of our thermal store which is where our DHW coil sits. The family get a bit upset with cold /warm baths

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
