Hi There,
I need some advice, i have just received a quote from a plumber to fix a 8m x 150mm stormwater pipe that runs under tree roots, he has quoted to dig the old pipe out and fit a new one but the pipe he is recommending seems to me to be very inadequate. I asked him what pipe he was going to use and he told me 150mm X 2mm thick (wall thickness), i don't want to have to pay for this job again in 5 years, being that its going under a tree and has to due to the area it runs through, its a replacement for old clay pipes.

Is there a standard that should be used in NSW for this type of scenario?

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
