Smells like something has died when boiler is running

Came on all of a sudden, have a combi boiler which was serviced in January, no increase in bills or energy. Just smells like something has died from the top of the boiler, no smell at the bottom where the pipes are.

Hi all, no gas leak, some animal decided to die right above my boiler, going to have to rip the celling down now
