Hi everyone. I'm in the process of deciding if to switch from a traditional boiler to combi. One thing that is irrationally worrying me is if kids leave hot water taps running. Would that mean the boiler (if it was 30kwh boiler) would be running full pelt and using 30kwh gas every hour? Want to switch to combi for few other reasons like water pressure for dshower etc but this keeps poppong up in my mind as a risk. Probably overthinking it but we have occasionally had out 8 yr old leave a tap running

I am cluless so wanted to check with people that know more. Would the gas usage be through the roof if this happened and we didn't notice for a while. Also if there a limit you can set on boiler for how much hot water is used.

Apologies if these are daft questions but would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Or to teach not to leave them on which might be harder than it looks

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
