Hi all,
Decided to get the Baxi 105 replaced. Going for the baxi 636. My question is, will my current salus iT500 be compatible with the 636 as there doesn’t seem to be a 0v switching contact. I don’t have a 230v wired thermostat and the salus uses 0v switching. I don’t believe the iT500 is opentherm so would this still work in terminal 1&2 of the low voltage m2 terminal block or will I need to add a new wireless controller to the list !!

Tbh it doesn’t comply with boiler plus so your installer should of advised you on this

I fit eph combi pack 4s

They asked what controller I had and showed them the iT500. I like this one as wifi enabled so can control from outside home if I’m out later etc. I will ask about hive or nest for a new wifi compatible programmable controller. I am going to get the baxi ifos installed with the boiler

Thanks for reply 👍

Either will be fine also your salus will fit volt free means the relay isn’t Powered eg low voltage but mains voltage is ok for it as well

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
