Discuss Salamander RHP 45 service kit? Will the CT fit? in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

G'd Afternoon,

I've got a Salamander RHP45 that's gone incontinent with old age!
The top, anti-vibration hose leaks and appears to be a standard part. A bigger problem is around the aluminium pump housing (image attached) Would anyone know if the O-Ring kit Salamander sell for the CT range will fit? Or, if there is a standard, off-the-shelf O-Ring that'll fit?

Can't really complain if it is completely beyond repair; just unfortunate timing work-wise.
Your opinions appreciated.

Hello, the hoses are available on our spares shop, although when you mention that its leaking around the aluminium housing, this can be down to a shaft seal leak (shaft seals are no longer available as a spare), or if its on the plastic pump end an o-ring can be purchased from our spares shop, although be mindful it’s not a guaranteed fix.

If you were to replace the pump, the closest match is now the RP50PT but would advice altering the pipework so that the angled inlet hoses are on the inlets to the pump, with the straight hoses being on the outlets. Thanks

Can anyone tell me what's in the service kit for these valves please (i.e. washer sizes). Don't want to pay £18 for about 3 tiny o rings and one gram of silicone grease unless I have to! Thanks
