Hi guys, riello burner is cutting out after it’s been running for 2 hours solid. Replaced new photo cell, nozzle, capacitor, I’m trying to fit a new solenoid tomorrow. Any ideas if this fails?
Thanks

Riello solenoids are usually pretty bomb proof so I doubt it's that, although I could be wrong. Have you been at the burner at point of lockout and has it gone through the motions to start again?

I have been there when its up to temperture itslockouts out. It’s a new rdb3 burner clean looking. Motor and fan sound normal. Any suggestions? Electrodes are arking? Could it be oil supply maybe water ? Or new oil pump?

Sounds like water in the oil to me, do you have a glass bowl filter to look at? or just drain off a bit into a glass container, let it settle and then look at the bottom to see how much is water.

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
