I'm stuck. How do I release the pipes from the old shower? They have an o seal connection.

Thanks Sean.

usually the new shower comes with a release tool to hold the collars down on the pushfit connections

Hi, I've just changed from a system boiler to a combi, and was told by the engineer that the current shower I have (Mira Event XS thermostatic) isn't compatible. Is it possible to have this one removed and an electric one installed?

I'm replacing the shower cartridge on my Bristan 1901 Thermostatic Exposed Dual Control Shower (Top Outlet). I have removed the cap and screw but the temperature handle won't come off. Am I missing something or does it just need more force?
