Hi all,
We've sourced 2 new rads that we’re looking to get installed in place of our 2 existing ones and have been quoted £350 for a direct swap (including balancing and fitting TRVs that we are supplying) or £700 if we’d like the addition of the pipes being chased into the wall. I wanted to get the opinion of any plumbers/people in the trade to understand if this was in the right ballpark as it’s a little steeper than I was expecting but fully appreciate in the current climate that may not be the case. The radiators are single panel ‘designer’ style and are not like-for-like in size so there will be a small amount of amendments to the existing pipework. We're located in the Midlands and would really appreciate any advice/comments.
Many thanks
Rich

As there designer they take double the time to fit than stnd radiators I would agree price doesn’t sound too bad

Mounting the brackets done right are fiddly and normally you have to flush them out due to normally having stuff still in from manufacturing
