Hi, Im trying to replace my Mira event thermostatic power shower but can't get the water inlet pipes free from the inlet manifold. There is a "special plastic removal tool but doesn't seem to do anything other than shred your fingers. any advice would be great thanksshower connections.JPG pipe tool.JPG

Remember the tool has to push the lugs down to free the pipe ken , so it would go just under the solder and push down,

Can be a bit tricky to get off but as above a tap with a hammer on 2 open ended spanners should get it moving make sure you have removed all the screws securing it to the wall and if replacing it fit the spacers behind the new unit. Cheers kop

As above, make sure you have the water isolated 1st though.. otherwise you'll get a panic attack, run around like a looney, get soaking wet :D:D

(no offence intended) ;)
