No heating is coming on at all over the last few days, so have a really grumpy, cold family - hopefully someone here can help! I've checked the boiler and that seems to be working okay. No issues with hot water. When I look at the thermostat it says 18.5, but when I click either the downward or upward arrowed buttons, it then shows 5.0, but it doesn't move from that number regardless of how many times I press either button?

Any help really appreciated.

Thanks.

Chris.

Not my area but as I`m sitting here waiting for somebody.
Google say`s wireless so have you checked the batteries?

Is there a wireless receiver near the boiler?? It should have an override button on it. Press it does the heating come on

Thanks for the quick responses guys, I'm at work at the moment, so not able to view those at the moment. Will update when I get home tonight. Any other ideas in the meantime, are also very welcome.

dont worry about the pairing/binding yet. press the power button on the thermostat as its set to frost protection at moment and if all works happy days. if not press button on receiver and see if green light comes on. if it doesnt switch off mains power to boiler, wait a few seconds then turn back on. now press button on receiver and green light should come on and boiler should fire in heating mode. if stat is talking to receiver it should switch off after a couple of minutes. if receiver keeps turning off and you cant clear the power off symbol on thermostat screen take the batteries out of the stat and let the display go blank then turn off mains supply to boiler as before then back on again and use button on receiver as manual on/off for heating for now. if you want to try pairing/binding you need to download installation pdf

Thanks all, just got in from work. Heating working great - a mixup with the on/off button! The family all talking to me again, so I'm a happy chappy! The quick help here has been phenomenal. Thanks again.

Hi, I live in a really remote part of the Highlands, so paying for a plumber (or electrician?) to do this will be brutally expensive, so I need to do it myself. I have a Grant Combi 26e boiler. I'm replacing the old thermostat with a new one. Although the boiler is a combi, I think the old...

Hi I have changed my Honeywell T6360 thermostat to a Salus T105RF wireless thermostat. There was three wires going to the original honeywell thermostat. One of these being the supply and another going to the boiler. I wasn't sure what the other wire was and so didn't connect up. Now the Salus...
