Problem radiator

We live in a bungalow and have a problem radiator that will not heat up at all. My OH has changed the thermostatic valve, tried bleeding it and has this morning taken radiator off and flushed it, still cannot get any heat from it, appeared to start heating up when he had bleed valve open then stopped when he closed it. Now nothing at all. The radiator was not full of sludge when he emptied it. We have a magna filter on system. All the other radiators are hot on the top and cold on the bottom! Can anyone advise please. Have asked 2 or 3 plumbers to look at it for us but no one seems interested.

Radiators hot at the top and cool at the bottom is a possible sign of sludge building up in the bottom of the radiator.

You need a good plumber to assess the system - where abouts are you?

Have you tried turning all the other radiators off to see if the problem one gets hot?
Have you opened the valves into a container to make sure both valves are working correctly?

Hot on top cold at bottom....the system is sludged up. Maybe the naughty rad is blocked by sludge further back. Close off flow and return to boiler to keep sludge out of boiler set up false flow and return with mains in flushed water out to a drain via drain offs. close all rads off bar one and spend a happy day going round and round with a strong magnet and or rubber hammer to loosen up the ferric oxide...check magna clean see hiw much it gets
