Anyone finding these 'failing' early? I'm in Ireland and have never seen these valves opening under normal conditions. Recently, in the last year, I have had three brand new PRVs opening under normal conditions. One of them was on the mains supply which actually has a pressure reducing valve on it anyway, so why would it open? Another is on a gravity fed system which is never going to reach normal mains pressure! Maybe that's the issue that they aren't 'pressurising' the valve enough. The third one is off the cylinder. All from joule. Any thoughts thanks.

Are you using the balanced cold for outlets or piping straight off the mains eg before prv ?
