Hi all.

I have Potterton Suprimal 100l. It had a new PCB fitted around 3 yrs ago to fix reset problem.
It has now started playing up in a different way.
In the morning boiler will not fire up. It flashes amber and clicks and just repeats this.
Fan does not run and boiler doesn't fire up at all.( call for heat is there )
I have to turn the temp knob off, and then on again, and if it flashes green immediately turn it off again. ( strange I know )
The boiler then goes through the ignition sequence and fires up, and I can turn the knob on and around to high temp.
I may have to do this a few times, before I can finally get the boiler to fire up. ( this happens every morning and during the day )
Anybody any ideas ? is it time for anothe new PCB ?

Thanks

Martin

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
