Can you plumb a kitchen sink waste pipe into a internal (boxed off) grey toilet pipe ?

yes a soil pipe, thanks, is it within building regulations ? would the small now come through the drain ?

Not sure what you mean by small? Yes it should be within building regulations, but might need to check on the invert of the drain. Have a look at building regulations document H - free to download.

There’s only a risk of smells if it’s not sealed correctly

You would need a ‘boss’ to make the connection and the sink trap would stop smells.
