Hi, hope everyone is well.

I’m a 21 year old from England, Essex, Southend, looking to make a career change. I’m trying to get into an apprenticeship for plumbing within Southend.

I’ve been checking the government website for apprenticeships everyday and most likely due to COVID, nothing has been coming up.

Firstly, has anyone got any tips and advice for me trying to get into an apprenticeship? And secondly, do you think in a few weeks/months as coronavirus starts dieing down, will there be more apprenticeship openings in plumbing?

What’s your opinion?

hello and welcome

other than to get on the streets and ask every plumbing company if they need an apprentice / know of anyone who does etc
