Going to fit a 22mm stop end fitting. Have a couple of solder ring fittings. Looking at them they are marked MA22 and LF22
is there any relevance in these markings?

MA fittings are push fit fittings normally used for compressed air /gas in plastic pipes. They are not certified for use with domestic gas in the UK.

Check that the od of the pipe you are proposing to use is compatible with the fitting.

LF are refrigeration / vacuum line fittings, they are normally in stainless

Unless you know the manufacturer and have their catalogue there's no way of knowing what such codes mean.
Ah well no idea one is recent other had for some time but could not find, knowing I had one, as normal found it when I had got the other.
