Oftec- can I sign of boilers privately

I have done my oftec course through the company I work for and was wandering if I can commission private jobs and sign of with relevant paperwork with this or do I have to apply for a sole trader separate qualification

need your own company and engineer details on separate oftec registration, plus of course 3rd party insurance cover.

Which isn't a problem with oil boilers as long as you follow Oftec's set routines
