Hi.. I have a Trianco combi external oil boiler.. the problem i have is that i cannot get any hot water unless I turn the central heating on. If i turn any of the taps on ( mixture between normal and mixer taps) the boiler wont kick in. I have had the diveter internals changed but no joy. It looks like the pin movement isnt enough for it to hit the micro switch?.
Any help on this would be most welcome..

My disabled daughter’s hot water has stopped working. It’s a relatively modern Potterton boiler with an indirect sealed hot water system and a Nest controller. I’m familiar with the old gravity and pumped hot water systems and the new direct systems but not with sealed systems. Recently...
