No heat after radiator removal

Good evening all,

Today I removed a bedroom radiator and capped off the ends. I started with the full works - boiler switched off, drained system, removed radiator and then filled up the system. I then bled the radiators and returned the boiler pressure back to 1.5. Turned the boiler back on but unfortunately am getting no hot water and no heat to the radiators. Any ideas?

Hi thanks for the reply but I just can’t believe this 6 hours trying to get it working today. Switched the boiler off for an hour (to be honest gave up with it) put it back on and the radiators are working

Didnt need to drain down, anyway, is it a worcester combi by any chance?

Did you turn it on and off when it didnt work? They have a 15 minute low setting when it has been switched off. Real pain in the backside especially on the first one and you dont know.
